Munneswaram Kovil (Chilaw): Visit the ancient Shiva temple complex where Lord Rama prayed to clear the Brahmahatya Dosha after defeating Ravana.
Manavari Kovil: Visit the nearby site housing the Ramalingam, the first Shiva Lingam installed and consecrated directly by Lord Rama.
Transfer: Proceed to Kandy.

Sita Amman Temple (Sita Eliya): Visit the exact location believed to be Ashok Vatika, where Princess Sita was captive. See the natural footprints by the stream attributed to Hanuman.
Hakgala Botanical Gardens: Explore the ancient pleasure gardens of Ravana adjoining Ashok Vatika.
Divurumpola Temple (Welimada): Visit the sacred site where Sita underwent Agni Pariksha (trial by fire) to prove her purity.
Overnight: Nuwara Eliya
Ravana Ella Cave & Falls: Drive down to Ella to explore the cliffside caves and 25-meter waterfall where Sita was kept hidden in the subterranean tunnel network.
Nine Arches Bridge & Ella Gap: Leisure stop and short nature walk in Ella.
Overnight: Ella
Transfer: Drive back toward Colombo.
